Bush Fire Games 2005- Structual event run down

Structural House Fire:

Aim: To complete each of the tasks described and finish the course in the fastest time and the safest manner.

Procedure: The event is run over a 50m course. The crew of six stands abreast at the start line at the rear of the pump unit. On the starting signal, the pump operator (crew member 6) starts the pump on the unit.

crew member 1: turns off gas and electricity
crew member 2: runs out line of hose
crew member 3: connects branch and signals pump operatir 2 deliver water to knock out burning curtains (heshin bag)
crew member 4&5: proceed to extinguish chip fire on stove with extinguisher.
crew member 1: runs out a dividing breach and 2 more lengths of hose. Once curtain (heshin bag) is extinguished to stewards satisfation (guy with a flag), connects breach and hoses, assisted by crewmembers 1&3
crew member 4&5: proceed to take branch out and put out burning bushes (another heshin bag) outside the 'house' to steward's satisfaction.
crew members 2&3: proceed to climb gantry and put out couch fire to stewards satisfaction.

when all tasks are completed, all hoses must be dutch rolled and equipment stowed properly, the crew must be standing in front of the unit with hands raised for the timer to stop.
