In my defence, the super-elite kart that broke it's drive chain had done that on other drivers twice already, earlier in the day...
And when I swapped to an elite, to complete the session, the engine kept losing all power as I went through a corner. It would drop down to idle, splutter a bit, then pick up again once I was heading in a straight line. Made for quite an interesting drive I must say!

one repair took him 90 minutes... new chain, and adjusting the engine position.

So really the fact that it was in state that could have been broken again without much effort really says that it wasn't fixed enough!
