nice job admin!!!

just a few questions:
1) is it possible to make the navigation hyperlinks any bigger
Board index » Miscellaneous » Pictures (I can't make this bigger - keep reading)
2) How to i turn on BBCode
3) What does the asterix on a post icon mean?

Thankyou,

spartacus

Asterix is the report post button, should be visible for all users.

BBcode is only enabled in some forums, this one appears not to be one of them :P I also noticed some forums don't come up with the smiles. Same with editing, only some forums allow it?

You can't edit in some topics (eg this one) I think that was the same as with phpbb2?

I think previously with v2 you couldn't edit/start threads in Announcements unless you were an admin.

I think I've fixed that problem (not all the permissions came across from v2 properly). If there are any other forums that don't allow bbcode, smilies, signatures or other weirdities, send me a PM.

That would suck if it's one that you are meant to be a moderator for that section!

While you're using the site, or do you come back after being logged in and find you're not logged in any more?

Now you mention it, when I came to the site tonight, I had to log in again.

Your sign in cookies that are set by the webpage are set to expire after a designated time. Like why gmail can sign you in for 2 weeks at a time. After that the cookie will become invalid and require you to log in again. If it's happening every time and you use firefox i believe you can set it to clear cookies etc. whenever you close the browser. Alternatively a 3rd party program like anti-virus, CCleaner or Spybot Search & destroy is removing them. They're my best guesses with the info provided.

On v2 of the board software, I never had to re-sign-in. Nothing else has changed for me, same browser, no antispyware software, nothing that deletes cookies, etc.

It remains a mystery :P
