Re: Kalgoorlie streaming scanner now online

Thanks, Yorky.

It was happily working, and has been been for the greater part of the day. Then all of a sudden something happened, and I started to receive the message.

I am sort of hoping that you are correct, but I have a suspicion that I have done something.

Re: Kalgoorlie streaming scanner now online

Have been happily listening to the feed for much of the day, but now I am getting an "ICY 401 Service Unavailable" error. Does anyone know precisely what this error is, and how it can be resolved ? I have tried Google, but am not really satisfied with the results, and it has not resolved t...

What Tyranus said.. I don't think there is a list, but the majority of members here will know most of the terms.. it wasn't that long ago we could all listen. Just ask :-)
Thanks.

Will do.

Re: Fed police

It is certainly the correct frequency range for AFP, but my understanding that they only use encrypted systems. The entity to which that frequency is licensed would appear to be a communications rental company, so the end user could well be anybody, such as a Security Company, or someone trying to s...

Re: WA Police Service Frequencies and Callsigns

Thanks.

That makes sense.

However, the link that you provided only gives the actual job codes.
I was wondering if there was a list of abbreviations and other colloquial terms.
I heard MDL used earlier, which I assume is Motor Driver's Licence.

Re: WA Police Service Frequencies and Callsigns

Guys. I have started listening to the Kalgoorlie Online scanner, and, due to coming from the eastern states, there are some matters being discussed that I don't fully understand. I was wondering if someone could point me in the appropriate direction. I am looking for a list of codes / abbreviations,...

Queensland Rail National

Good morning, guys.

Does anyone have any frequencies that are being used by Queensland Rail National (QRN) in Perth, or WA, for shunting, or other, purposes ?

If they are using standard ARG / AWR Shunting Channels, can someone please advise which ones are being used.

Re: Public Transport Frequencies and Links

Rail Frequencies.

I note that there does not seem to have been any updated information provided for some time.

Can anyone advise if there have been any significant changes to the information previously provided in the recent past ?

With thanks

Re: Country Cars

Thanks, "yorky".

The only reason that I raised it here is that the term seems to come up quite consistently when discussing "country cars".

Re: Vehicle callsign spreadsheet

I appreciate that the only spreadsheet I can find is a now couple of years old.

Is there a current spreadsheet, or even basic list of callsigns, readily available ??

Re: Country Cars

Just for the uninitiated, what does "Multanova" mean in WAPol terms ?

It is not a term with which I am familiar here in NSW.

Rail Frequencies in the Pilbara

Good evening, guys. I suspect that this subject has been previously done, but can anyone please provide me with a set of comprehensive, and current, frequencies, not only Train Control, but Shunting, Maintenance etc, for the rail operators (BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, and Fotescue Mining) in the Pilbar...
