Re: Emergency Service - Western Power
Asfar as im aware, they cant go Priority 1 as this is only for services that responde to icidents where human life is directly involved, and as they primarily assist other agencies like FESA they are seen as a specialised back up for dual response jobs. im not sure how fast they can go, but ive seen...

Re: preparing for Career FRS
I recently enquired about the HR licencing at the joondalup center.
I was told you can go for your HR licence aslong as you have held you C class licence for atleast 2years, including P plates, LR and MR i believe is 1 year.

Re: Kelmscott Bushfire Various
Wouldnt it be better they are not on the fire ground ? I mean the fewer people in danger, the better. Sure what ch10 are doing is misleading but it is safer. I was "closer" to the fire and we are still several km's from the actual fireground or the control point. It's terribly misleading....

Re: Police & St John Ambulance

SJA on the otherhand did everything via MDT so you never got any information anyway. Iv also heard rumours that FESA are going to follow and g...

Re: Digital transmissions on the WAERN
the Tait 2020's are the older radio that have been taken out and the Tait TM8260's (dual radio system with 1 head, green = VHF Mid & VHF Hi, Yellow = VHF Hi & UHF) have taken their place. I dont believe these are capable of digital & encrypted communications. so either they are being rep...

Re: Poor juliet charlie 102
Now you mention it, Iv heard of a few turbo-timers that have this feture, wired to the handbreak the engine can run for a timed or untimed period and if the handbreak is taken off (without the keys in the ignition) the engine turns off.
