This is correct but the coordinator of the event or SJA officer in charge should of been made aware and possible consequences of the person being discharged from care. Did anyone here the ear bashing the Voilunteer First Aiders got at the BDO on 6PR..... heard the ? father or relative on the news this morning saying that if his daughter had been treated by a para then she would have survived as the signs and symptoms would have been picked up. Ahh but my point is if that happened to a Police officer there would be a minimum sentence/penalty. Where as all the other emergency service workers aren't protected by that, so if you get a timid judge then despite the police doing their best effort to get the person dealt with reasonably they won...
