Re: Idea for possible new streaming scanner
The Railways would sound like a good idea, only because that is my area of special interest. I think that you will find that the existing feed only covers Transperth, mainly the security side, plus station operations etc. It would be good to get some feed of the freight areas, such as Eastern Contro...

Re: WA Police Service Frequencies and Callsigns
Thanks, Yorkey.
I gather that it must have been something like that.
There did seem to be a number of them around, almost doing / assisting with GD work, but they were obviously not locals, since they knew very little about the geography of Kalgoorlie.

As an adjunct to my post, the address noted in the first posting to this topic is the correct address.
I should further add that, at my request, the local railways have been added.

Re: Sticky: Online streaming scanners
Kalgoorlie Scanner: I was listening to it in the morning (Monday), and then at odd times in the afternoon. I was having a few issues by late morning (EST), in that it was "buffering" very badly. I am not sure whether that is at the owner's end, or my end. I had some discussions with the ow...

You might even look at the 409 Store in Hong Kong. With the exchange rate to the US dollar so good at the moment, things are reasonably good. However, they do run everything through PayPal. This entity quotes prices in US dollars, usually as an all up price. Without looking at their website, I belie...

Re: WA Police Service Frequencies and Callsigns
That would certainly make a lot of sense.
The list that I have is dated 2003, posted in 2005, and is the one that is on the applicable forum in the group.
With respect, perhaps it should be totally updated, if not accurate.

Re: WA Police Service Frequencies and Callsigns
That could make sense.
The list that I have is probably five or six years old now.
It does have a space for "Portables and Beats", but it is blank. It does come right after the 700-series of numbers.
