Re: any1 know of any callsigns or call codes
Been listening to PTA train control, and I've noticed extra callsigns other than the usual "Driver xxxx". So far I've heard Sierra 34, November 39, Charlie 58, Charlie 62 and November 36. They all call in like the others, but don't know what the callsigns mean. Anyone got an idea? Thanks.

Re: Health Minister blames amateurs for pagers
They don't mention amateur radio at all in that article, let alone blame anyone. The only mention I've seen was on 9 news when someone explained how the thing worked.

Re: Is WAPOL encrypted statewide?
Unfortunately, this isn't how the P25 OTAR protocol works. You'd need the OTAR encryption key as well, which is another key that encrypts the encryption keys. It's explained better here: As noted above, cryptographic keying of P25 radios may be done manually by a technician with a special keyloading...

Re: Bus and Train Frequencies???
Affiliation shouldn't be an issue if you're using an SDR to receive, which I think is what you implied you're using. Which area are you trying to listen to?
