Gday guys, just a quick question, just recently (last month or so) my benelec has been knocking my cd player into protect mode if i transmit for 10 or so seconds (or longer). Archer Antennas
Not sure if this is the right section to ask in but i have come across an Archer antenna, no idea if its uhf/vhf etc, would love to know if anyone had a website for them, searched and searched to no avail its black, bout 90cm long, 1/3 of the way up is a single wire that makes 4 turns in this space ...

the tower at swanbourne could see the smoke/fire, and it was called in by swanbourne foot patrol who could also see the tower so im guessing only a few hundred meters (didnt hear the initial call come in, only bout 30sec in to the conversation onwards as i had the radio down low) as for the location...

small bush fire just north of swanbourne surf patrol today bout 1:20pm, suspect bloke in black boardies seen fleeing from the scene

ah k, i thought they were part of the point to point system, cheers for that. also noticed today they were applying what i would assume to be the finishing touches to these cameras, lad on ladders were playing around with the camera and have attached what i assume is a BFO flash to it as well oh and...

i assume these also use the sensors that are built into the median strip at the top of the hill near the freo cemetry and the one near high road? (which appears to have actually subsided in the dirt :? ) i read they base it on a vehicles wheel base as well, seems to be like an aweful lot of computin...

Cheers, 491.225 is the transmit (that you would listen to), and 496.425 is the receive (what there units would transmit to, no need to listen to this). They also have 495.400 registered to them at the same site, again that is the repeaters transmit . ok cheers mate, i couldnt find them on the amca ...

CA 502 is a new falcon xr6 turbo, normal blue and white checkers with red markin, also a large vhf(?) antenna on the back
