What does the water corp fire support guy do? I understand they supply bulk water etc but what does the guy that turns out all the time do?

I was at Jandakot today and there is an OZJET Plane on the apron. It has been flown in this week as it was not there last week while the redbull stuff was going on. It has a N rego number.

Type one helicopter (Green) 681 is contracted till 14th April. It has no further contacts so will be stored in Australia unless another contract comes along. Information from one of the pilots today.

Does anyone know who is heading to Balladonia WA.(Southern Cross?) I just heard a task force getting ready at Baldivis fire Station.

Thanks smokey. I thought that most pumps would carry a thermal camera. But obviously not. The helicopter with the thermal camera was flying over the Bertram fire this morning for a while.
