Fire at Elleker (west of Albany) this afternoon/evening. (Sat 17/10/2009).

GWN advised for residents to activate their fire plans, avoid Mutton Bird Rd & Bib Track.

Fire comms on 163.150MHz.

That was taken down circa 2004 - Probably one of the spare antennas on the old wind gen tower so it wouldn't be overly high.

They are an excellent device - BRB . Whilst working on the road I was able to travel from Perth to Bunbury, all around the South-West region and back to Perth achieving coverage all the way - thanks to VK6KSB's Digi too!
