That was taken down circa 2004 - Probably one of the spare antennas on the old wind gen tower so it wouldn't be overly high.

G'day Gav,

Any idea which tower & antenna the Tic Hill digipeater is on?

They are an excellent device - BRB . Whilst working on the road I was able to travel from Perth to Bunbury, all around the South-West region and back to Perth achieving coverage all the way - thanks to VK6KSB's Digi too! Quite a remarkable unit considering it's only a 5W 'radio'. My setup is the BR...

Re: Remembrance Day contest - 15/16 August 2009

What antenna did you use for HF ? I got a dozen eastern states contacts using a 1/2 size G5RV before the storms damaged it. G'day Martin, We probably had 40M of electrical cable out as the radiator - Tied from the verandah post out to a tree, then right angles across to another tree. Used the veran...

Isn't that where we're going Rob? West of Cranbrook? Hey Wes, The question was a Dorothy Dixer ...! That was your cue to come in and tell everyone that Lake Nunijup is about an hours drive north of Albany. Beautiful lake, used by locals for water skiing in the summer, some big trees to hang wire di...
