Re: APRS - spy on me while I drive

The current receiver being used on the 6GHZ I-Gate doesn't like the Big Red Bee. The initial receiver would gate the BRB packets direct. I refer to my earlier post about Yaesu's...! :) http://warsug.info/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=7010&p=83097&hilit=chock#p83097 It's a mark of Yaesu quality - ...

Re: APRS - spy on me while I drive

Perth now has a second Internet Gateway. 8) Good work to those involved in setting up...! I hope it doesn't do VK6HGR's I-Gate out of a job! There must be a bit of ducting tonight. Mt Barker is talking to Pinjarra. I am using ui-view connect to a Yaesu 2800 (RX only) 18:08:57R VK6RAA-3>APN383...

Re: ABC TV news theme - club remix

Does anyone know why the ABC (Radio) News at 7.45am in the mornings plays a longer version of the theme song than at other times of the day? I've often wondered why, but I'm not the sort that rings up radio stations!

Re: APRS - spy on me while I drive

When I got my MT-AIO during the week, I set UI-View to send received data on 145.175 to the net which is why VK6KCH-3 appears now. It has been going for a while it seems but invisible. My UI-View to the net is only running occassionally when I want to try something out and not going to be a long te...

Re: APRS - spy on me while I drive

Good to see a bit of APRS activity starting up in Bunbury. 8) Yes good to see VK6KCH-3 digipeater on air from Bunbury and VK6ADF-9 driving around. The digipeater might need a bit of fine tuning to its settings, as does VK6RAA-3 which I'll get around to one day! Maybe VK6ADF can tell us a bit more a...

Coverage is excellent considering it's only a 5W repeater!
Well done and thanks to the volunteers for getting this repeater back on air.
