I was at the Gold Coast for xmas and new year and saw a few of the FG in QLD Highway Patrol livery, looked great but definately very obvious from a distance also.

Looked like it was deep inside the pine plantation, from where i was at Hepburn and Alexander, but almost true north from the Telstra site on Gnangara Rd.

I've seen 2 other unmarked vehicles driving mainly around Orrong Rd, Farmer Tunnel/Freeway and Mitchell Freeway. They also have M*-XXXX number plates.

I'm pretty sure the dogs still operate in the city, i know a lady that has a dog that is used for tracking/searching. She even came to work once wearing the SES uniform this was however a year ago.

From what's been said recently in the media there isn't even enough room to open the doors of vehicles because they have packed everything into a small area. Can some one confirm this. The firies reckon they gave the powers that be a few points regarding the new station and it was largely ignored......

Cheer's guys, i didn't know all FRS and VFRS vehicles were fitted with magnetic station stickers, now i nose.

My first thought about the missing "Kwinana" sticker was that it had fallen off.

Wonder how many times that's happened :lol: :lol:

Agreed but the road is ok, should of been dual carriageway years ago though.

Most of the fatal accidents down there are from vehicles wandering into oncoming traffic...good roads don't necessarily improve bad driving behaviour.
