Jezza has pretty much summed it up.
They were a Coach, not a route service bus. They had a 12L V8 Engine designed for coaches. They had coach seating and were equipped with toilets for long distance work. They are not designed for stop-start work.

Numbers are allocated to the next available block at the moment. With the silver buses, it was originally a case of 1140-1233 for Veolia, 1300-1362 for Connex, 1500-1590 for sWAn, and 1700-1853 for PATH. This went out the door as transfers between companies and contract changes have required the mov...

Re: Bus fire
Firstly, the Gas components of the vehicle were undamaged (Read: Completely intact). It was in no way related to the CNG systems of the vehicle. Delta 1, Delta 4 and Delta 7 appear to have been sighted so far as Hilux's with Varley Pods. I think they look good to be honest!
Re: Randoms
The Bus is PATH003 (ex UQB-394) PATH Transit's Training Unit. It's a Mercedes O305. This one is special as it was the 1st unit with the O307 STuLB front fitted.

JV105 - Subaru Impreza, only saw it from the side but it's a 2011/2012 one! Looks pretty good except for the shocking lightbar attached to it... That looks ghastly!

Personally I think they need to mount the cameras on the windscreen and in the rear window (Like the Essex Interceptors Scooby's) They are effective and hidden in that position!
Still, good that WAPOL have it now!

Re: Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting
Not sure how true it is, but I have heard that Scrambling equipment will be in use so that members of the public cannot use mobile phones near the city centre. Anyone else have any more info on this?

Re: Path Transit/SCT-Veolia/Swan Transit changes
6ST is the Callsign for Swan Transit Operations Rooms. (eg: Mobile 1357 to 6ST Shenton Park over). One would assume the full callsign is VL6ST (Like VL6MT, the Radio Room callsign in the MTT days)
