The Tait TM8260's are programmed so that if the mic is on the mic clip, it cannot transmit. and as was previously mentioned they are also programmed for a talk out timer of 120seconds.

iv noticed a few CCTV stickers on the fixed speed cameras, i assume mainroads have live video feeds at some intersections now?

I would imagine it would be call specific. so youd still be able to ring certin numbers (000 or 131 444 ect), and band specific too, so police/fire brigade/ambulance ect. would still be able to use their phones/radios/dispatch computers and AVL wich all use mobile phone inferstucture to operate

The IC is the Crew Leader/SO/OIC on the first arriving appliance. when it gets scaled up, normally 3rd alarm, (But depending on assets under threat) And ICV is called, then it will normally become one of the qualified members of the ICV crew. (or a DM if mobile) this also depends on what land its on...

Yes yes its a late reply, but WN LT3 had rotators & Leds in the M/ Light bars. when you change to secondary lighting the rotators turn off, and only the LEDs in the mini light bars stay on to save power

Hi all,
Does anyone know what make/model the controllers are in the Light Tankers, and The Tankers (3.4/4.4)

In some of the BFS vehicles they have a controller that allows you to turn on sirens LED and strobes/rotators all independantly... In no BFS vehicle i know of can you activate the siren without the warning lights. some of the vehicles iv been in have different controllers to the green/yellow/red bu...
