There is currently NO scanner available that will allow you to monitor TETRA, in any form what-so-ever.

Re: Icom 41s Antenna plug

thanks for the replies. I've got the bnc adaptor already and it seems to work fine but i wanted to know if it was a reasonably common connection. I have been thinking about ordering a 3db handheld antenna for it and wondering if when ordering it from the manufacturer i could get a direct connection...

Re: Icom 41s Antenna plug

Does anyone know what the icom 41s's antenna connection is? Is it an SMA or TNC? Neither. Looking at photos. it looks like a 1/4 inch whitworth thread. Icom have a BNC adapter to fit, Part No AD-98FSC, which is availabe from Andrews Communications for $39. Presumably, other Icom agents can also sup...

Actually it only adds 20 more Channels, at 12.5 KHz spacing, interleaved between existing Simplex channels. The Repeater and Telemetry channels remain unchanged.

Re: Speedway frequencies!!!!!!

Hi! I heard from another site thaT it was real hard to find but I think it was 201.something. I will check later. Sorry. 196 to 202 MHz is the Video/Audio bandwidth of TV Channel 9, so I don't think it would be there. ~~~~~~~~~ The ACMA database shows a 5 Watt simplex frequency of 484.9750 MHz lice...

Re: Central Park Trunking System

The Motorola Smartnet Controller can only handle a maximum of 28 channels (frequencies) per System, and you may notice that the Central Park Site has more than 28 frequencies, so there may be a second system on that Site, or the excess frequencies may just be in Reserve. A little bit of history. The...

Re: system on board the QV1 building

How do you determin the Base CH freq. and the Control CH freq.? The Control Channel is easy, just locate the frequency with the continuous raucous noise on it. As for determining the Base Freq, try here . Another website that may be of use is here , although I'm not sure all the links still work. -...
