I can just imagine what will happen if ACMA is privatised. CB idiots over the emergency service channels. Jerks running 10,000 watt amps onto all the frequencies they can.
And nothing done about it.

That magenta/Magenta combo is confusing. Just give them Magenta/White\Red.

Re: Waccom UV5r opinions?
Correct me if I'm wrong though, I'm not sure if something like a C-Tick is required in this case which these radio's wouldn't have. I can't comment on vollies using non-Vertex self supplied radios, as it's more of a DFES policy thing, but commercial land mobile equipment needs to be certified again...

Re: 6AR Interference
Some have speculated that it may be malicious, but I think some repeater is stuck open somewhere.
The MOC is apparently down, and all comms are being routed to the Bunker in Belmont.

6AR Interference
6AR has had blank audio being piped through all the major command channels.
It is unknown if this is deliberate interference, or if it is a technical issue.

Cool.
This sounds like the radio definately isn't working now.
If it is over 10-15 years old, it would be worth checking to see if the Capacitors havn't leaked. Getting them Recapped is a solution.

It was most likely flying with the Black-Hawk Helicopters.

Roland, the system is Motorola Capacity Plus running 5 TX/RX freq pairs. As the system is Mototrbo you will need to use equipment that can receive DMR. FYI, The repeater "booms" out and can be heard quite a distance from the stadium. Portable RID's start with 61XXX and base/fixed units ar...
