Re: CHOGM 2011 *HI RES* AMS Ambulances
Also saw a ford transit version around. Didn't take a snap though. Was in one of the adjacent parks near the concert hall/government house. Must've been every vehicle in their fleet out there that day.

Didn't this belong to West Coast Ambulance Service when they were still operating?

Think you are referring to Help with the NSW ambulance service broadcast on SBS. It's available on youtube if you search the ANSW channel.

Re: [WF] SJA Paramedic Supervisor
Think you'll find suprisingly few patients lie on a stretcher. A number sit upright in a seat. Push comes to shove a response vehicle can take patients sitting. They have aritcles in the paper periodically how people call for minor things like toothaches, want to visit friends in hospital etc.

There you go. Just a bit weird it doesn't have any SJA markings.

Re: Christmas Island AFP, Christmas Island Police & Ambulanc
Sure that ambulance is SJA? No SJA markings on it at all. Just the generic ones Paull and Warner do. Thought someone like WA country health service would cover that area.

Re: AMS discussion page
No pics of them at motorplex on their website that I could see. http://www.medicone.com.au/events That pic seems to be one of an NHS Ambulance Service Officer/Manager. Uniform is a dead give away and so is the changeable labels on the vest. In their course section the paramedic training pic is from ...

Re: AMS discussion page
Noted on a recent look at the Medic One page that they claim to be covering Motorplex as an annual contract. Thought this was lost to SJA? Also don't like the various photos on their site that come from other services e.g. AV, NHS in the UK are just a few that I saw.

I'd be very happy if that was my temporary depot. New building, lots of garage space. Better than a few of the depots I've seen in my time.

Re: [WF] SJA Paramedic Supervisor
Foresters seem to be the thing these days. Especially now there is a diesel version though I don't think the one pictured is a diesel. NSW, WA and the NT are using them. AV are using Ford Territory. Haven't seen what the rest are doing.
