How would this relatate to police codes, does this mean I can walk into a Police Station and say that I want your details because I have the right under the FIA. Not exactly no, you'd need to follow the proper procedures for requesting information under the FOIA. Then the request would be formally ...

Re: No

Not covered by FOI. Perhaps - perhaps not :-) An FOI request to the organisation in question would find out for sure... If anyone's interested in what you can and can't do with the Freedom of Information Act, take a look: http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/wa/consol_act/foia1992222/index.html I'm n...

Re: GOVERMENT RADIO

Do you think that Government agencies should share there codes and frequencies to the public under the 'Freedom of Infomation ACT'? Good question - you could always try a FOI request and see what happens :-) Personally I don't think they should be secret. IANAL but as far as I know the codes aren't...

Re: Dont work

I know. I've been asked not to put them here anymore :-( Last year, the webmaster of "Scan Australia" blatantly ripped off WARSUG's content and proclaimed it as his own which annoyed the living heck out of me at the time. I sent him a polite email asking for some kind of credit, but got a...

Re: Ok

I am aware of this, what is the best frequency to pick up the voice (radio) around the south of river area ie where is there repeater and what is the frequency. The PDF document above doesn't mention where the repeaters are, so your best bet might be to program them all in and scan through them loo...
