Re: Off-Topic thread for the Off-Topic forum

There are the crazy extremist 1% of any group or religion. Its a real pity they manage to taint the reputation of the 99% who don't think its ok to do anything for the cause.

Re: Last Train at 4am

In an ideal society transport officers and police wouldn't have to deal with antisocial behaviour. I don't think there is a single public transport system running in Australia that doesn't run at a loss. Re: General fire discussions

I reckon the hit it hard and fast thing is worth it and I understand sending Career crews first. It costs the govt more or less the same whether the crews are at a fire, travelling to a fire they get a stop for, or sitting in station waiting for someone to say they need more crews. For sure there ar...

Re: FESA Smart chopper unveiled for bushfire season

Ah that really sucks :( Just like the shuttle, I am a real fan. They just don't make things in that raw power to move mass way anymore.

Re: CHOGM - random Pics

Independent is spelled the same in USA, which is why they have Independence Day and not Independance Day. I always wondered why they put the day and month backwards for dates except for the 4th of July :-k I may well be wrong and would love to be told if someone knows different, but I wonder if it ...

Re: Streaming FESA scanner audio

There is a link to a DEC facebook page on that as well. If you have a smartphone and subscribe to email notifications for their posts, you should be up to date with the DEC updates.

Could not find an official FESA one.
