I found out last night that they do have a higher limit. They have the normal Priority Two and Priority One, but now they can request Pursuit Priority. Only the duty inspector can authorise this of course.

I believe police constantly go over their 140km limit. Who wouldnt!? Isn't it funny when ever they are calling a chase its like "speed 130, traffic nil".

But you cant blame them, It would be so frustrating being on the tail of some car thief and then being told to stop.

I think CADCOM will still be going ahead, It has not been scrapped. As vk6hgr said, a lot of money was spent, too much. What I understand is they went way over budget and are now out of money and ended the contract with the people that were ripping them off. But as far as I know it is just delayed.....
