I went to that Mandurah crash, we left from Warwick and we missed the first (few!) calls on it. Which was lucky I guess because the body was already gone but car still there. That was bad. I think CADCOM will still be going ahead, It has not been scrapped. As vk6hgr said, a lot of money was spent, too much. What I understand is they went way over budget and are now out of money and ended the contract with the people that were ripping them off. But as far as I know it is just delayed.....
