from what i know and have been speaking to some tchys bout it 1st of july this year the digital system while be taking over so far nearly all the districts have the new radios in the cars now being a towie ya tend to look into police cars alot lol but from the last time i spoke to a mate of mine who...

reason for this is the new digital system still has a few gremlins and they tried a new thing on it and wiped out the 2 consoles

yes it is a current model tait 9 ch and judging by the software and from what i have been told it has selcall and voice inversion scrambler who ever buys it i will give them a copy of the software

for armadale way try 412.475 thats on top of the ch 10 tower in carmel
the ambos use several repeaters all round perth and other areas there radios are set up for voting which while there driving is like on a consant scan and picks up the strongest repeater i hopw that helps you out

i think you will find that squelch noise is actully trg with dvp (digital voice protect ) for example ch 15 traing ops ch and you ill here that on ch 9 too for drug raids major ones

if any one rembers the good old days ch 9 was V (victor) vechiles ch vice squad and other tasking these days it is run by R.O.G (uq vechiles )(regional operations group )
