Hi Lino, What testing/practices did you use to determine that the Icom AH-7000 is better than the Diamond ( i assume we're all talking about the 130-J ) ? Domestic WA 6565khz 24Hours ,8843 & 8822khz day

9340khz is a Australian shared NAVY, AIR, ARMY RAAF network.

123.45 is recognised by Airservices Australia as the air-to-air frequency. On Longwave i can hear Perth ATIS on 272khz, Jandakot on 281khz and Pearce on 340Khz quite well down here in Bunbury.

ACMA Website shows the date approved as 18th Sept 06 but in my original posting i could hear it in Bunbury on the 7th August 06.
So i wonder why was it on air before being approved ?

goes out about 10 Klms ?

Repeaters ?

i can receive it here in Bunbury around 50 Klms away with no 'repeaters' on my Discone, if you can't then you need a better antenna or something.

Geraldton Police come through to me regulary on 467.975Mhz during the afternoon and evening and also the Geraldton Taxi service comes through well on 164.225Mhz.

Bunbury and Busselton Police have been very active on 469.225 Mhz lately using it as much as 468.175 Mhz.
