900's are tadis lite units... They weren't designed to be used as an actual callsign... But there is some confusion out there at times... Callsigns are based on what the master radio identification number is... ie NX102 is the radio ID number in the vehicle, GC814 is the radio ID number on the porta...

All police and FRS vehicles have the ability too run lights and sirens independently as well... It isn't a difficult mistake to make... Not the first time it has happened and definitely won't be the last... At the end of the day it's not a big deal...
