Approximately 50 SES members were involved in a search for a 73 year old lady last night who went missing from a Subiaco Nursing home. Search area was kings park with WAPOL patrolling local streets. I think murdoch fire station is having an open day this sunday. 9 till 1. i heard about it a few weeks back. not sure if its still goin ahead. if ur interested in goin it might pay to do sum investigating.

From what i gather, the big Scanias are turbo charged staight 6 diesels (with pistons that are about the size of an average persons head....). The Allison fully automatic gear box also helps. No gear changing required, just push the button for drive.

By the looks of things all the vehicles have Red & Blue lights on em. Some amazing bits of kit in those pics Magnus. When will WA aka the Wait Awhile state get kits like this?? bout time they kitted us up like that.

Mayb its about time the thread was locked then, or the spreadsheet could be reinstated. i can see that until either of those happen people are gunna keep sayin that its wrong or questioning what appliances are at what stations and how many of theme are there.

Saw Bridgetown VFRS's CP or HSR on Leach Highway in Melville the other day. Does anybody know if its a brand newie or is it up to have work done? As of about 6 months back they still has the old LP, but the truck i saw didnt look like the new generation of Isuzu's.

from memory one of the old GPA's is at one of the wheat belt VFRS stations. it might be Dumbilyung??? i think this ois the old Isuzu medium tanker that has been referred to.
