2m/70cm mobile whip by Andrews, is a diamond clone. I've gone the next size up, so this is not required any longer. Still brand new and never been used. $89 plus postage from Andrews but I'll take $70 for it.

Re: Antenna question
Yep, +1 for the Diamond D130 discone antenna. Even better with an amp making it active.

EOI, mobile and hand held radios.
I have recently bought a new antenna and radio for my car so my Kenwood TS50 will be sold when everything is done. My radio needs a new lithium battery inside, it has no memory at present but it still works as it should. Does 5, 50 or 100 watts, I have a LDG KT100 antenna tuner to go with it which a...

GME 35 amp peak power supply
I have this sitting around doing nothing, I used to use it but then it was put aside. It's an old school power supply, really heavy, has a good hum when started, but this doesn't affect the radio. Works as it should.
Pick up from Wellard or I can maybe drop it off.

Re: Standard Licence
Hi Doug, I think I met you when I done my F class, names Dale, call sign VK6FIOR. I work away a lot as a FIFO, so very hard to commit, I'll probably do something on line if I don't sign up to Ham College again for my standard if I go down that path. I've got the syllabus that I dig out every now and...

Re: Standard Licence
I just got my F class with Ham College back in June, I want to do my standard, but I don't know if I've got the knowledge. I've always been interested in operating a radio, not building it.

TS50 battery replacement
Hi all, is there anyplace in Perth I can drop off my TS50 radio at to have the battery replaced? I'm not overly confident with the soldering that needs to be done when changing it out.

Re: 477.0250
Not many people out here, so I don't know if it's a base. I've emailed the AMCA to see if they can shine any light on this. An no Reevesy, too much cost cutting going on.

477.0250
Hi guys, I work up at Karara in the midwest, about 70ks east of Morawa. Our site allocated frequency for our business is UHF 25 (477.0250) and we get a lot of sell call type tones happening every day, this morning (Friday 5th Sep) between 07:00 and 08:00 we heard it near on a dozen times. Is there a...

I may be able to do the October one, but the others clash with my roster. I'm a FIFO worker.

Re: how do i get a vk6 foundation licence
There's no option for me down here in Busselton either and I can't do constant trips to the city to accomplish this license which I really want to do.
