I may not have written that as well as I might have... What I meant to point out is that OZ and Canada are very similar in size and population. The reference to the USA was only as you can get their Sat coverage programing for free with the right decoder and dish, and that the data costs are minimal...

When we were living in Canada a few years ago, $40 per month got you basic cable (32 channels) broadband via cable (10G limit) and 2 phone lines with unlimited untimed local calls. There were ads on mos...

G'day Kimmy. Hopefully you have had a good read of the site and have noticed the threads regarding the WAPOL service not being able to be scanned any more. If not, have a bit a of a read. Air frequencies are quite busy. You will find a lot of information in the Aviation area. But for a rough start t...

Is it that which causes the 'pulsing' of the signal or reception?

The pulsing is sort of like a wave with the peaks about 3 seconds apart.

Thanks :)

Moon??

WTF??

Night reception.
http://www.howstuffworks.com/question1.htm

Fading in and out has always perplexed me too.
Doppler effect somehow? Bit hard if nothing is moving thou.....
Abbsorbsion of the signal somehow.....
The receiver it's self......

Would like the answer too!
