Some DEC avehicles i heard were getting red and blues but Yeh not due to the first response. was just an example of some situations. Maybe more so the manager cars? My guess is as good as anyones. anyway this is off topic.

well yeh thats what i mean. fires in deep forest and stuff like national parks. DEC land anyway

DEC fire vehicles have no priority, there lights are fireground use only. which is silly cause like in country areas they are first to respond. I have heard that some select DEC fire appliances will be going to red and blues. Not sure on the accuracy of it but. Rangers with red and amber are usually...

There are certain techniques i think. Where they break the spray out of the branch so theres no real flowing stream.
