I thought you all would be interested in an article that appeared in today's The West Australian in Inside Cover titled aptly 'Sgt Pepper's academy band eyes out recruits '... 'It wouldn't be a police academy unless the drill sergeants gave the new recruits a good spray from time to time. But there...

Thanks Brad, that is exactly what I meant. It would be tough to arrest someone like that and still stay composed. Chances are they did nothing but they would have gone in praying that the guy put up a fight therfore they would be justified in using a bit of force.

Trust me he will get what he deserves in jail. Gang members and Criminals have kids too and they will make that known to him in jail. I would say that he would have struggled while being arrested so the police would have had to take him down hard(if you know what I am saying!!!).

Thats ok madmikey, youve got 15 days before ARGUS harasses you. It may pick you out as an expired C of R but you would be sent on your way. Just dont crash as you have no insurance.

Hey guys, just to let you know that most of Perth GD's are taser trained now. The ones that are not trained will hopefully be soon. Also the course does not allow you to be tasered, Some OH&S crap.

Yeah I heard this one. POLAIR was using FLIR to help the K-9 check out heat sources. I went to take the garbage out and saw POLAIR circling with its night-sun on. Lots of cars involved. Only caught a bit of it but figured it was a chase cause they had lots of cars in the area. Thought i heard TE211 ...

Re: ARGUS

Robo
Not best used in 100km/h traffic...... thats why it is usually used in conjunction with the booze bus..........
I agree, just saying that it is very fast in reading the number plates. It is a great system and there should be more of them. A night on the bus with ARGUS is a whole...

ARGUS

Hey all, I am new to WARSUG. Just for your info I have worked with ARGUS and it is very quick. It scan the cars rego and does a search all in about two or three seconds. The reason why the traffic would be so slow is because of the booze bus. You could pass ARGUS doing 100k's and it would still most...
