pretty silly where they have stuck the emergency lights...fine viewing for front and back...but don't want to be in there approaching an intersection - way to far at the back of the vehicle!

AFAIK it's the EU (European Union) Guidelines, nothing more nothing less. And they recommend how big ambulances should be, what should be in them, divide them up in to categories (A: Patient transport 1 person, B: Patient Transport 2 People, C: Emergency Ambulance 1 person). Thought the amber light would be additional hazard lights....just thought it would be easier to stick some flashing lights on the roof...but each to their own :-)

dunno bout speccy i heard it but didnt see it to the last minute coming up behind you its fine you can see it to a point, side on forget it does look awesum at night though during the day kinda average. I think I get what you mean, but it would be great if you could rephrase that using proper punct...

If I had to bitch I'd say a little more contrast would help (yellow on white doesn't stick out big time) - but hey, we don't want to overreact. Does anybody have infos or even better pics of Patient Transport Vehicles here in WA? Don't really have any clue about them, apart from the fact that they do the NEPT (non emergency pationt transport) side of things, of course. What is the training standard of the drivers? Where are they stationed? ...
