We have been putting them near our hydrants for about 4 years. In Queensland when I was there last year some-one had gone a little catseye crazy. The round-a-bouts have about 4-6 of them and the hydrant in the middle and there are more of the blue ones than white ones on some streets. Gosnells have...

at least every 12mnths usualy done pre fire season helps make crews aware of the location of hydrants in there area and this way any hydrants that requier the water corp to fix it can be done before summerBFB LT1 wrote:What about metro?

Hey Written if you look on the pics you will see little clear lights around the cab and also on the rear there are four of them on the rear pannel 2 st the top and 2 at the bottom these are LEDs that flash blue and red they will look very good once all lit up

i think the green one is used by either DEC or BFS. i am sure that was the one that scared the crap out of me during karagullen. it flew over us just as i turned of the pump on a old LT. It is my experience that the when a fire rapdily escalates from something that can be handled locally with a single IC running all the IMT functions, to a full fledged blow up, there is often a "fog of war" until the full IMT is generated and gets up to speed. I don't want to presume too ...

Hey Guys this second fire is seperate to the Bridgetown one this one is located along the Nannup -Ballingup Rd were the Lowanna Cottages are located just south of Wrights Bridge . this is were the light car club hold the lowanna rally it is very steep and pine plantation country we wer camping there...
