I thought that was the case Turbo, but i didn't want to pre-empt you. When i started, the ABC had crews from 7am till 7pm plus OT and call outs. Now 8am to 6pm, rarely OT and no call outs. I assume that the networks believe it's more cost effective to pay 1/4 of Turbos's retainer, than pay their own...

Not a matter of respect, just some people have no brains and dont deserve a car license. How hard could it be to pull over near the curb and remain stationary for 20 seconds till the emergency vehicle passes. Coincidently i experienced such ignorance yesterday. (Sun 4-3 @ 12:10pm) Travelling west o...

Thanks for making the distinction Turbo. Have wondered if there was a connection?

I reckon imacop is on to something. I think even a junior detective would spot the similarities.

Nice work Turbo. Was listening to that chase all the way. Imacop - I haven't discussed the specifics with Turbo, but his footage is used by all of the stations. The networks only pay for crews from the morning until around when their news' go to air. Turbo fills the gap in the wee small hours, shoot...

HM681 - where the hell did you get anything about breaking in to a cop car???? Seems to me you might be the only one stupid enough to try it! If you had read imacop's text you would have realised this is OBVIOUSLY parked in front of a workshop and the other buildings might possibly be used as commer...

The fact that they took him away in an ambulance would imply that he wasn't killed, but it does look like has has a serious head wound (gunshot??). What amazed me was the dozens of police SCOOTERS (yes scooters  ) involved in the chase.

Hey Bonez, you and i have more in common than we thought. I started my career at Mid Western Television (VEW8) in Kalgoorlie. I got retrenched when the 'original' GWN took over the VEW8 licence at the start of creating the state wide network (along with GTW11 - Geraldton and MTN - Mining Television ...
