Re: It's that time of year again ladies and gentlemen...
The biggest issue along that rail reserve would be the underground pipeline from Bp refinery Kwinana to the massive storage tanks in Kewdale which runs about 5m away from the freight line, parallel to it! But engineering these days can do practically anything. (if you have the money!) There's a pip...

Although being top heavy, don't think for a second that the aircraft is right way up after a ditch (personnel would most likely go through a training exercise in a simulated crash in a pool where you go upside down and practice evacuating underwater). I believe that there is a business located just...

I'm pretty sure it was a grey one - makes sense if it was, as Leach Hwy is a major truck route.

Re: Latest round of red light (speed?) cameras
I've recently seen a set of Redflex cameras facing the wrong way the the Leach Hwy x Stock Road intersection - Are they just speed cameras, or red light too?

UWA is thick with both marked and unmarked WAPOL this arvo - highly suspected to be the PM with Hilary Clinton. (Though the private security said it's Murdoch's kid having a petting zoo - lol!)

So it's more about crew rather than equipment? Like Helitak said, fill the pumps and LTs with FFs - stack them 6 to a pump like we vollies do sometimes!

Singapore MRT can run 6 car trainsets with 3 min gaps on lines where stations are less than 10 mins walking distance apart, with out any problems That may be true, but the issue is signalling. A line is divided up into blocks, with a signal controlling entry into each block. The closer your blocks ...

Also you have to be aware that it takes about 20secs to start the engine from hitting the isolation switch - this is because the V8s have an ECU where as the old 6-cyl didn't. No biggie, but if you're in a hurry, you get the battery going first thing. Apart from that, awesome chassis - it'll go almo...

Re: W.A Fire Appliances
I can confirm this. You can also drive a LT on a manual C class license too.kwn wrote:The BFB appliances with a single rear axle can be driven with MR (4.4 and below).
HR would be required on the likes of 12.2 bulk water carrier etc due to the double axle.
Hope this helps.
