WA Radio Scanner Users' Group

Wow I have been watching for about 5 minutes and have already seen 3 cop cars! Thats cool.

It will connect and look like its working but there is no audio.

Its still down!

Im 99% sure there is a law about acting on information heard over a scanner, but I think its very rarely enforced.

Was in Dick Smith in Karrinyup and noticed they have marked down their scanners to clear.

UBC-T9 has $100 off at $299

UBC-T8 had about $70 off also

In case anyone is interested.

I am just using the "Nightshot" mode on full auto settings and standard on camera flash. I use out video camera light too.

Im not game enough to use manual mode yet though Im sure it will improve my shots.

Mainly using a Canon 350D and sometimes a 400D.

Only have the standard 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm lens.

Im practicing night photography and placing my pics up on Tumblr.

I am happy to give out high res pics to those who want them for personal use.

Also open to any tips on improving my shots.

Glad the vollies came off unhurt - extremely lucky.

I identified myself as media and was still stopped TWICE in the same street and had the car checked over.

An ambulance driver told me if you are stopped behind a car or number of cars at a stop sign you will win as you have stopped and the law doesn't indicate that you must stop within a certain distance from the line... apparently.
