Canning Dam fire - control point is on Heritage Drive (near gatekeepers house) in Araluen.

Didn't catch the classification, but fire at Canning Dam. Air support and Bedfordale in attendance, I assume Roleystone and others also (but haven't heard them call in).

Drove past a fire on the Burswood peninsula (near Belmont Park) tonight. Looked to be in mop up.

ALso a 2nd alarm on Ash Rd Beechina, now under control and mopping up.

Didn't hear the alarm call, but fire in Mt Helena, cross of Elliot Rd and Sillia Retreat.

Grass fire on Pechey Road Swan View is now a 4th alarm scrub fire in John Forrest national park.

What's the location? The DFES site is non-responsive....getting hammered I assume.

I think they should be in equal amounts grateful that there are more timely information sources about emergencies than the DFES website... an old gripe, but still a relevant one

Did I hear bomb squad? Perth? Anyone get details? Perth 2nd turned out, now awaiting Bomb Squad and expect to be on-scene for a couple of hours.
