Hello everyone, just wanted to ask if anyone here is or knows someone who is with TPG mobile, if so what are they like? Currently with Crazy Johns but not happy with poor reception in my area and constant issues with no 3G internet connection in a few areas including Perth. Hoping the change from a ...

Re: SES incidents

Anyone know what was happening in the city on Friday afternoon?
Noticed an SES truck parked on the foot path on St Georges Tce about 3:30pm near London court? About 4 or 5 crew got out but didn't look in a hurry and no lights on.

Re: W.A Fire Appliances

LED lightbars definately do a good job at being seen but they can be a real pain to follow at night. Rear LED's are nice and bright but being LED's the beam angle isn't as wide. Interesting thing I have noticed recently with few appliances on the fire ground is there is a lot of variation in the fla...

Yep, a few young kids decided to set off a few flares in the bush next to our station, had good turn out though so we had it out in next to no time.

Re: New white crew cab scania sighted this morning?

Didn't happen to notice if it had an orange beacon between the red and blues on the roof of the cab? I saw a couple of other white units similar to 2.4's in Welshpool the other day and that was one thing that stood out on them, so possibly mine site fire and rescue

Nice Photo's
The way DEC and FESA set the control point up you would think they expecting to be there for a week or 2. It was like a little village. DEC's ICV makes our ones look pretty sad. Hey FESA can we have one of those?

Re: Severe weather alerts

I'm curious as to who decides on the fire danger rating? I thought the Bureau of Meteorology advises FESA and the shires on them but all I heard yesterday was Possible chance of Extreme to Catastrophic fire dangers inland? Can the shires also amend these ratings for their own area's? if so does any...

Re: Severe weather alerts

Can someone keep an eye out for that rain from the Ex-cyclone? it seems to have disapeared along with the Cyclone itself. Each new forecast from BOM say less and less chance of severe weather, now it's a small chance of thunderstorms? Let's hope we don't get the wind without the rain. :?

Re: Help needed re: Charger voltages

From memory 7.4V is the battery voltage so the charger supply will always be greater.
