From my experience at fires with SJA catering is pretty good. DEC definitely have a catering trailer. BBQs and the like built in and i've seen a small portable cool room (rental) with it too. I have to say i'm not a fan of the queensland colour scheme. I know the high visibility yellow is the new standard but it can just be applied in better ways and designs. E.g. look at the NT, NSW and WA ambulances. Look a bit nicer in my honest opinion.

SJA NT probably have the best relationship between volunteers and paid crews that i have seen Australia wide. Not too many people progress through past Clin 1 logbooks though (most have trouble getting them completed) as it does require a high level of commitment and most people with full time jobs ...
