Re: UBCD436PT and DFES
You won't need something as fancy as that to scan the WAERN at this stage. Not until the ESRN is up and running.

Re: FESA frequencies
DFES have introduced codified callsigns for some operational staff in the Southwest and Metro North East regions. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to disclose who has which callsign though unfortunately.

Re: WA Police Service Frequencies and Callsigns

I've never heard or seen that callsign before, and there's been a lot of units with that 2109xxx ID come up, anyone know...

Re: DPAW Frequencies
Could be related to the new GRN being implemented.
Edit: looking at the callsign registered to the frequency, VKW426, that callsign has been allocated to the Department of Conservation and Land Managment.

Re: DPAW Frequencies
According to https://fcc.report/ELS/CP-Communication ... EX-ST-2019, that could be for some sort of camera streaming. Have you got a link to the ACMA registrations for those new frequencies?

Re: UHF CB and or Zello - Trying to generate some activity
Only problem is the PMR446 nets are usually within smaller towns, but here in WA, it's vaaaaaaaast lands. It'd still be neat to try something like that though. Hi JhG123! The nets do occur in the smaller towns but also do well over wider areas too. Particularly of course given the easier access to ...

It was certainly quite a challenge, ended up pulling the balloon out of the other tree, cutting the line, then pulling the sonde through the top of the trees. I got there about 3:26 and ...
