I myself would reccomend you try and fit it into the console where that vacant spot is under your stereo. Then screw a Mic clip (holder) onto some part of the dash to mount your mic in.

Should be a volume knob which will turn it on if you twist it. Or a button with a power sign on it. Just give everything a go untill you can get it turned on. Perhaps read the instruction / operation manual if it came with one
