Re: [WF] Odds and Sods, Out n About No.2
What station is that in the second photo? Great shot of the Mandurah train in the underground station I believe that its the 'old' Cannington Fire Station. Great to see they are still looking after the place! Who can spot the Heinken Keg propping up the window :) Haha  , I was about to say, Lo...

Re: W.A Fire Appliances
Possibly one of the old appliances from Forrestfield training center? Can't remember if they still have all the FESA stickers still on them but I know they still have a couple of old dual cab land rovers.

Re: General fire discussions
There are still less resources in the metro area, It's just an interesting observation that FESA seemed to have changed their procedures for mobilising resources to areas well outside metro areas. Was wondering the same thing, even if there were properties under threat which is what they normally g...

Re: FIRE 4 HIRE
Not a bad idea but as far as controlled burns go I'm not to sure a Heavy Pumper is such a great idea as a fair majority of controlled burns are done on properties that require 4WD to access them. I'm assuming he would be either ex FRS or Volly so would have all the proper qualifications and training...

Re: V8 Light Tankers
We have had one for a year now and as mentioned above they are a great improvement over the old 6cyl. Much better onroad and off especially when needing to overtake. Redline is higher than any V8 diesel I have ever seen which is handy as it doesn't like doing much off boost which is around 1000rpm s...

Re: General and Off Topic Pictures

In the USA there is a new data network system on a nearby frequency that is capable of wiping out GPS a ki...

I was originally with Arachnet before they were bought out by Amnet and have been with amnet ever since and could not fault them. Every time I have had a problem they could not have been more helpful and I even had a followup call a few days later to make sure everything had been sorted out. Being i...
