So has anyone heard any information about the wundowie fire as the fesa site only has a smoke warning but no inform on the fire itself

Carnarvon fire is still going good. People and appliances are slated to head up there from the metro area. There is a map on the DEC website, with the northern head fire about 30km wide and the southern one about 20 odd. Pretty =D> decent fire that is for sure. Yep just received a text about that, ...

True that may be but only due to the outcome of the incident that wangara attended. Im sure nobody here is naive enough to beleive that a turnout from a station such as ellenbrook, osborne park or duncraig would be effiecient on a day such as wednesday just gone when you have a head fire moving at ...

I agree, always look forward to seeing their station all lit up at christmas time.

In our brigade we have 5 vehicles fitted with a combination of 3 different radios, supported by 2 different handheld units. Our 2 newer appliances were delivered with only WAERN Green radios installed, and our older appliances originally fitted with black radios have now had a WAERN Yellow radio ad...

The last lot of information I received with regards to the use of radio's in our brigade from a fire fighters point of view not setting up the incident because lets face it that's what 99% of vollies will only be there to put the fire out, for this season so far was midbands are used for comms with ...
