How do you know that? as nra555 said, DEC has heaps of unmarked suv's for there managers with very similar dash light, aerial and gps set ups. There is 5 vehicles exactly like this floating around the Wanneroo office.

The Fire Protection Officers were started by Local Governments after recommendations by the Roleystone Kelty report and also because DFES have/will be dispanding there bush fire mitigation group. It's going to be interesting to see how this works.

what's every one else's thoughts?

On a related note, how to DEC units get called out to their fires? I've never heard any sort of 6AR-like dispatch on their channels. I agree, particularly as the DFES website melts down every time there is a decent sized fire Technically speaking, they have the same problems that Clickfrenzy site h...

Nothing really new from DEC. They have had them for some time. Mainly based at DEC Wanneroo and Bunbury.

its our (WANNEROO'S) new ICV we have been waiting for a while to get it =) looks good Hey no fair, you just got a new BWC, stop hogging all the ESL funds. Must agree though the old coaster has seen better days Cough* Hino AC140 - ex Wanneroo Community support bus it's better than a Mitsubishi L300 ...

Ahhhh, these are the ones!! This is a new ICV design currently being implemented within FESA. The idea is that these ICVs will be deployed at a regional level, responding to larger incidents, and crewed by volunteer crew. The ICV in the picture is the prototype - the comittee is currently finalisin...
