PFO: Hit the nail on the head ;) Bomber: About time they moved leaving the vans out on the street and in view was just asking for trouble, im guessing the locals figured MAYBE they were dumb enough to leave drugs in the vans too. Druggies? I think not- from what i hear, defibs have been stolen and ...

Hello Markmywords, I am disappointed with SJA and having no accountability, as you have correctly stated. If it wasn't for the guys on the front line - The Ambos, the sevice was have been a lost cause long ago. Though patient care is placed over money at the lower end of the service - The Ambos who...

Saw M.O Rep with alas recently. Noticed at the v8s that they had a peel ED rn as the paramedical supervisor. How does that work? Something fishy going on lol?

simply put an observation out there for comment, and see what other peoples thoughts are. No backseat driving, just observation. I was hoping to get some reasonable input which i did to a degree, without any bias. It doesnt matter who rolled the vehicle and how, what matters is that it is quite plai...

Hrmmmm i dont think the medical team is responsible for the roll over. Any para or firie will know the fire team is in charge until the car is stabilised isolated and any danger removed and or controlled. Once that is established the medics are in charge. So i think you should take it up with the c...

Bingo, hit the nail on the head concerned with spinal injuries. so why roll the vehicle back onto its wheels? I have no idea. Perhaps it was the best/only way to get the driver out safely. Perhaps you could write to whoever was in charge of looking after the medical team - the WA Sporting Car Club ...

Hi PFO, you're spot on the money; it comes down to two thnigs. The union having 'Puffy Chest Syndrome'. The present management structure. So as long as these things are left in place the volunteers are left as a disadvantage. Interestingly enough SJANT are also a private service too. always have be...

Well guys I also respect your thoughts too. PFO Though St John's IS responsible for the level of training of it's volunteers and not the volunteers responsibile. The volunteers do an exceptional job considering limited training. It was not until 1978 that the fulltime ambos only started accredited ...
