Re: getting tracked

I know right! very curious, I am kinda merging out of the CB radio faze now, the prices are too high and i think that they are too short of a talk range for the money, e.g. i got them LXT 118 from USA for $31 including shipping, they are normally $20, and they go 18 miles. And they're like 0.5 watt...

Re: getting tracked

so i was wondering, if someone uses a CB radio from America, and it is using a different frequency, (not 476-477mhz), but not a frequency that anyone in the area uses, no police, no companies and no emergency channels etc. Then who would report them, and how the hell does the technology work that a...

Re: How to report?

Just off topic, does anyone know any sites (preferably in china) where I can buy multiple cool gadgets and get them all shipped in one package? Little cool, working cheap gadgets? I already know about: alibaba, dhgate, c2offer, eBay- obviously and yeah. If there are any cool little gadgets on them ...

It's a Feidaxin FD-450A just like this one . It has just been pre-programmed. It's just like all the othe...

Re: New CB- Radio(er), need some advice

I bought it from USA, as I said, so will it be illegal to use in WA, or illegal just to import it? It's on it's way now, so will it be stopped by customs? Yes, it is both illegal to use or import it to Australia ( not just WA ) ... Will it be stopped by customs ? Hmmmm .... :-k .... I doubt it ....

Re: UHF CB DX

I stopped at Cocklebiddy on the Nullarbor one summer evening. I couldn't find a spot on the FM band that was empty. Some frequencies had multiple stations. Cocklebiddy is about 1100 km from Perth! I reckon I was receiving every Perth and regional station for 1500 km away. The next morning there was...

A tech's review According to the person who reviewed it .... The verdict The good: user friendly design, excellent receiver, good audio on both RX and TX. The bad: Harmonic suppression disappointing. Rotary encoders are unreliable. Bottom line: this radio still needs some work. The KG-UV920R isn’t ...
