Thanks for that Mr G. I was just a concerned passer by who used a bit of commonsense. I have done extinguisher training before but Im a bit rusty and I knew if I stuffed up I could send a fire ball into my face....not pleasant. Im guessing that theyll be closed for a few weeks till they repair the d...

Gday, I agree that the police should get a pay rise. Just as a comparison, I drive buses and get paid $20/hr The coppers are getting paid $2/hr more than me and they deal with tonnnes more crap than I have to put up with, heck if i see someone fighting at a bus stop I can keep going , the cops have ...

I did have some RAC frequencies. I got them out of a scanner book but they were listed as being western power.....I have no idea why. Sometimes you will hear the patrol man asking the radio operator to make a note on the job for whatever reason. I also know an RAC man and Ive heard him on the radio ...

Gday,

For those of you south of the river, can anyone remember the old Booragoon bus station?

That was a thing of beauty.......NOT!

The old Kwinnana bus interchange was no better, I only had to go there a few times when I first started driving buses.

Thats my two cents any way

Yeah, I heard about it on the news, no-one said anything about it at the depot , mind you I was only there for a few minutes at the start and end of the day, out on road for the rest. I have a feeling that it was one of the circle route buses, they seem to attract these types of people, going on wha...

I heard Mandogalup attend a fire around Magenup Rd Wandi this arvo at around 4pm. The arrival code was along the lines of "66 make 3rd alarm" The crew leader also asked for helitacs but for some reason they were un available. They sent out Hope Valley (Or Kwinobyl as Ive heard them called)...

Gday all, Living on a main road in the southern suburbs I get the occaisonal chase past my place. I was woken at around 0230 this morning to a loud roar as a car flew past my place, a few seconds later I heard the following police car. I grabbed the scanner and by this time VKI has aborted the chase...
