I have also seen the hose reels on the pumps used in grass and bush fires, particularly around mop up time to help speed things up, rather than have a 4WD worry about the flat grassy perimeter let a pump handle that and send the LT's and other 4WD appliances into the rocky area's that the pump can't...

Roger that Wes, and by 3 it's 1 at the front and 2 at the back, and as you say under a certain weight. If it's not drivable on a C (unlikely) then maybe an LR or at a stretch (sideways) MR.

We demonstrated both techniques at the show. We did the ladder slide early Saturday afternoon, reset the rig and did the hinge later in the day.
