Rumour has it that the police traffic escorts will soon be main roads traffic escorts.... anybody else hear about this?

Mmm I think that was the case a while back, but now they are appointed as traffic escort wardens under the RTA and RT (Wardens) Regs. Their OIC is still a police officer i believe. Correct me if im wrong tho...

Nice pics! Does anyone know why the traffic escort vehicles have red/blue? Do they go P1/2? Just curious...
