Re: Motorola XTS3000 programming

I don't believe that radio is capable of CTCSS. It's not in the spec sheet I have. The radio certainly is capable of CTCSS and DCS and NAC. Basically any commercial radio these days and from years past can handle CTCSS and DCS. As to the programming the cost of a lead from Ebay (make sure it is for...

Re: So... what do you think of this latest decision?

Singapore MRT can run 6 car trainsets with 3 min gaps on lines where stations are less than 10 mins walking distance apart, with out any problems That may be true, but the issue is signalling. Re: Perth Airport Digital Trunk

Will there ever be a TETRA compatible scanner?? I know for a fact that TETRA is encrypted by default and it is illegal to intercept encrypted transmissions. First up it is not illegal to monitor encrypted transmissions in Australia, the USA yes, but here no. And no there will not be a TETRA scanner...

The best is to keep an eye on eBay.
In October this year the UBCD396T will be re-released by Uniden. RRP is expected to be $499.

Re: How to stop scanning?

I am not very scanner-savvy the device was somewhat of an impulse buy, but I still find it interesting. Is there a...
