The Beechcraft are all up for sale and will be retired in Feb I believe, then decommissioned.

So while we are getting new PC12's we are loosing some airframes too.

We are due to get another PC12 in Feb. We have been bumped up the waiting list as clients have dropped out due to the GFC.

For those of you playing at home,...

VH-OWD is due in this afternoon around 4PM assuming that all goes well.

Yep, she's due in about 4:30 Perth time with Cpt Bleus at the pointy end.
Then it's about 6 weeks of fit out to get her opperational.

Apparently on Sunday sometime between 17:00 - 18:00 a stunt plane will be doing some stunt flying over Jandakot for about 15 mins, during which time they will be closing the Jandakot airspace.
The plane does advertising for MuzzBuzz I am told.

We have been running this on and off for the last year.

Works OK around Perth (radar), but outside of that counts on ADS-B data. The kingairs are not fitted out and the NG's need a software upgrade for it.

Yes, it's slightly manic here today. :) RIO has been doing operations all week getting crews up to operational status. Hopefully there will be some good coverage on the news tonight judging by all the media here. Fingers x'ed that RIO stops when it should when poking it's nose into the hanger! :lol:
